🤝 Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality history lessons that cover a broad range of historical periods, events, and themes.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs and engage students.
- Create opportunities for students to analyse primary and secondary sources, develop historical interpretations, and communicate their findings effectively.
- Assess student progress through a range of assessment methods and provide timely and constructive feedback to support their learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to organise historical field trips, guest lectures, and other enrichment activities.
đź“š Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant qualifications in History or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching history at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of historical content and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Dedication to promoting historical literacy and critical thinking skills.
