Overview:
Randstad Digital are working with a large enterprise to source an Information Management Specialist on an initial 12 month basis.
You will be responsible for overseeing the organisation, quality control, accessibility and compliance of information within major projects. This role also involves managing document management systems and other information infrastructure, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring governance and control of information and continuously improving information management processes.
Position Responsibilities:
Information Architect:
- Designing and implementing systems for storing, categorising, and retrieving information.
- Managing databases, document management systems, and other information infrastructure.
- Ensuring document control, governance, and assurance tasks are optimised for meeting project deadlines.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Working with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand information needs.
- Developing effective information management strategies and KPIs for each project. ○ Communicating information management processes and project documentation status through reports and presentations.
Information Governance and Control:
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.
- Implementing access controls and data protection measures to maintain information security and confidentiality.
Knowledge Guardian:
- Safeguarding the integrity and security of information assets against unauthorised access or loss.
Technical System Integration & Process Optimizer:
- Evaluating and improving information management processes for efficiency, accuracy, and meeting evolving needs.
- Documenting all processes for transparency and consistency.
Key candidate criteria:
- Extensive knowledge of information management best practice processes within complex mega project environments.
- High level of skill in utilising and maintaining multiple document management systems, including developing and implementing process improvement initiatives for multidisciplinary project teams.
- Extensive knowledge of document control compliance, governance, and assurance best practices in complex project landscapes with multiple vested stakeholders.
- High levels of skill in managing the document control lifecycle and providing advice to key stakeholders on best practice processes.
