Business Analyst
Come work for a Federal Government agency on a 12 month contract , this position is a team membership position within the organisation and has a concurrent requirement to resolve issues and risks across a broad range of activities of substantial depth involving significant detail and to provide support to the team leadership of their work area in the planning and coordination of the team.
... Roles Responsibilities
- Identifying and documenting current business processes to create baseline understanding of current situations and processes.
- Creating and facilitating process design improvements by conducting business and systems process analysis.
- Providing program/stream level analysis and producing required analysis documentation.
- Providing expertise and supporting the Product Owner to elaborate user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps with the input from SMEs.
- Providing assistance to Product Owners with the use of internal systems.
- Evaluating effectiveness of proposed solutions and design.
- Leading transition of business requirements over to build teams for development.
- Supporting verification testing of the built solution to ensure alignment to business requirements.
Key Skills
- Business process analysis: Proficiency in analysing and documenting current state versus future state process maps.
- Stakeholder management experience
- Supporting product end users including responding to feedback, collecting evidence of a defect, organising testing or other activities.
- Testing: Ability to undertake systems testing against defined acceptance criteria during the build and testing cycles of development
