Responsibilities
- Take ownership and develop the CapEx budget for projects and programs at the early phase partnering with Global Advanced Planning team.
- Benchmark previous programs and projects database with external references and EPCM platforms.
- Develop and maintain CapEx optimization metrics to capture impact of lessons learned on execution.
- Be a part of technical and budget assessment for loans or investment partnerships.
- Support internal and external financial compliance audits associated with CapEx budgets.
- Collaborating with Procurement in the evaluation of quotations and proposals from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors and enable accuracy of database.
- Work closely with CapEx controlling to prepare and present detailed and insightful cost reports for project teams.
- Address cost-related risks and make recommendations.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, or chemical).
- 3 to 7 years of project manager or project CapEx Controller with some experience in Automotive or Mateiral/Mining industry.
- Technical experience in execution of engineering projects and deep understanding of industrial projects in operational environements.
- Knowledge of CapEx budget and estimation standards (international or national certifications such as AACE).
- Proficient in using Portfolio Management tools such as Primavera P6 or Planisware.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using MS Power Bi, Excel and Tableau.
