About the job

In your job, you are responsible for the recruitment of temporary Accounting Support positions. The jobs recruited for are in general between 12 weeks to 12 months long. Jobs you will recruit include Accounts and Finance Officer, Accounts Receivable/Payable and Payroll etc. When you join the Accounting Team you’ll inherit a weekly rolling GP to build upon which will help you to set you up for success. Your clients are based in the Northshore. You will work closely with a colleague who specialises in Senior Accounting Jobs within the Northshore. Together you will approach clients, share market knowledge and build your brand in the market.

We will help you to achieve your goals by continuous professional development from your manager Amber, your team and other members of the Sydney business and Accounting division nationally. You will have weekly link ups and regular career progression sessions with Amber, so we fully understand what you need to be successful and how we can help you to get there. There is the opportunity to grow into a Teamleader job.

About the team

Our Accounting specialist team is broken down into three sub-teams. Reporting into our Branch Manager Amber, you will join a team of 5, all specialising in Accounting Jobs within the Commercial Sector. The other two teams focus on Accounting roles within the Government and within Financial Institutes. Amber has over a decade experience in Accounting recruitment, including leading a successful business for the past 3 years at Randstad. The team is known to be cohesive, flexible and fun. Team lunches to celebrate success is just an example.

About you

You have experience working in recruitment jobs already, ideally specialising in Accounting recruitment. You are a team player who doesn’t mind to step in if your colleague is out of the office and their client or candidate calls with a question. You need to have commercial acumen and be sales focussed. You see speaking to people who you have never spoken to and understanding their business and requirements as a challenge. You know how to build and maintain relationships with people and will use this to develop new business with existing and new clients. We will support you from day 1, you will start our 8-week onboarding training and have a personal Learning & Development Coach to assist you, not only in the initial week but throughout your career with Randstad. Ideally, you hold a valid driver’s license.

No recruitment experience yet? That’s ok! We would still like to speak to you if you have experience working in Accounting and have worked in a sales job. Being the second largest HR professional globally, we will teach you everything there is to know about recruitment jobs and assist you to be successful.
