The job

Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting job for someone who combines strong account management skills with a hunger for business development. You will inherit an existing temp business plus a robust portfolio of existing SME clients across the South Eastern suburbs.

Your focus will be to engage and retain these accounts while exploring further opportunities with new hiring managers within these businesses. Working with predominantly SME clients, you will develop relationships with senior decision makers in finance roles and present a unified solution to all their accounting needs. You will work on accounting jobs at all levels; qualified and non-qualified; with the full support of the team. In addition, you will drive cross-selling activities by introducing our services at Financial Controller or CFO level to businesses already engaged with randstad across other lines of business.

Your ‘home’ will be based in Melbourne CBD but it is anticipated that you would spend part of most days in the South Eastern suburbs engaging with clients and candidates. As you continue to build on the great work undertaken by your predecessor, there is a genuine opportunity for you to develop a team to support you and enable your progression into a leadership role.
