Having had no experience in Randstad or its sector, I spent my first three months in the Netherlands followed by three months in Germany. This was a great experience as it allowed me to work closely with these countries’ MDs and managers but also with lots of people working in offices and units. First hand contact with the business and seing so many people in such a short period of time was very enriching and a very steep (but enjoyable) learning curve.
