culture
As the second largest HR services provider in the world, Randstad specializes in matching the needs of business and individuals. Our people are our greatest strength. In fact, one of our core building blocks to success is attracting the “best people”. We therefore try to ensure that our people are given the best work environment, training, opportunities and support so that they can develop to their full potential.
Our founder, Frits Goldschmeding, was a pioneer in the labor market in 1960s. The entrepreneurial spirit he instilled is still alive in the Randstad culture today. Our culture is and always has been open, friendly, professional and driven. In fact, the diversity of the company and our market is so dynamic that many people stay with us for a long time.
Core values
Three core values are strong determining factors in the Randstad culture. We believe that applying our core values is the best way to help our stakeholders and society. It is also the only way in which we will achieve our mission to become the leader in the
World of Work.
1. To know, serve and trust
We hold a high degree of knowledge about our clients’ needs and ambitions. We have a strong desire to provide quality service. We also have a deep level of trust with each other as well as with all of our stakeholders. |
2. Striving for perfection
We aspire to distinguish ourselves in all of our activities. We aim to surprise clients and stakeholders by constantly exceeding their expectations. |
3. Simultaneous promotion of all interests
The dialogue that we foster between our various clients and stakeholders plays an important role in shaping the World of Work and the environment around us. We have a history of taking all stakeholders’ interests into account. For instance, using constructive dialogue with unions and authorities to enable the creation of regulatory and social frameworks for flexible labor. But also through initiatives to give back to our environment, applying competencies as a means of alleviating poverty and disadvantage. |
