Permits Officer
Location: Hobart

Salary: $42.74 per hour + super

This role is responsible for facilitating plumbing and building applications, as well as managing post-permit processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing general administrative support, such as fielding phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate officers, and drafting and dispatching correspondence.
- Monitoring the plumbing and building inbox, and efficiently allocating documentation to the relevant officers.
- Maintaining meticulous records of incoming correspondence, including processing start-of-works notifications, registering occupancy permits, managing extensions of time, and issuing certificates of final inspections.
- Assisting in drafting statutory documents, including permits and certificates of completion.
