- Identify and analyze market drivers to proactively source new business opportunities in alignment with the banks (e.g., foreign/Asian/Chinese investment banks/local banks) and NBFIs (securities, PE funds, asset managers, insurance firms etc.)
- Solicit business through loans and non-lending products, including syndicated finance, bilateral lending, margin finance, FX/derivatives, treasury marketing products (Interest Rate Swaps/Currencies Swap), CASA/cash management, and payment services (e.g. APIs)
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships by gaining a deep understanding of their business, organizational structure, and motivational drivers, while closely collaborating with key decision-makers.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal procedures and external regulations, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and risk management.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including business, risk, compliance, and legal teams, to seamlessly execute strategies and initiatives.
- Proactively identify, prevent, and report any risks or policy breaches to maintain a robust risk management framework.
skills & experiences required.
You will ideally have 8-10 years of experience as a Senior Relationship Manager in Instituional Banking/Financial Instituions Group and will be familiar with leading FI coverage bankers to solicit new business opportunties and executing credit mandates within FI business. With respect to business needs, you will be proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. You will be a capacble leader who demonstrates a great sense of self-motivation and proactiveness to drive the team forward.
