We have the opportunity to join a well established, global corporation with an immediately recognizable brand. We are currently seeking professional and experienced Credit Controller and Accounts Receivable Officer based in the Melbourne, CBD.

Working within a team of 8, reporting to the National accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • The management of 700 NSW based accounts
  • Collecting debts owed by customers to ensure prompt payment is received
  • Resolving customer disputes over invoices
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Processing journals
  • Issuing authority codes
  • Interacting with a diverse group of customers and providing a high level of customer service
  • Liaising with both internal stakeholders including the Sales Department, Customer Service/Telesales and other external stakeholders such as key accounts and 3rd

The ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years experience working within either a Credit Control or an Accounts Receivable role
  • Experience using SAP and/or any other major ERP’s
  • Have outstanding communication skills both written and verbal, as well as an exceptional telephone manner
  • Be highly proactive, possess strong negotiation and reconciliation skills and a sense of initiative
  • Have the ability to maintain, strong business relationships
  • Be a quick thinker, adaptable and decisive
  • Customer Service orientated
