My client is an Australian Government Department seeking an experienced Change Analyst to be a key player in a business critical transformation project. This is an initial 6 month contract based in Sydney, CBD.

Responsibilities:

  • Using a methodical approach and defined tools, identify detailed business change impacts in the following categories: people, process, technology, organisation structure (including external parties) and behaviour/disciplines.
  • Assist with stakeholder analysis and stakeholder management activities within the program.
  • Support, provide input to and develop key change deliverables such as a change roadmap, stakeholder analysis, stakeholder engagement plans, communications planning, training and knowledge transfer planning.
  • Work collaboratively with key senior business stakeholders and project members of the HR/Payroll workstream to achieve a successful outcome.

Essential Skills:

  • At least 5 years’ experience of business led change assignments
  • Consultant level experience and understanding of change management techniques and practices.
  • Previous SAP and/or HR project implementation experience
  • Significant understanding of core change management disciplines including but not limited to change impact assessments, change/business readiness assessment and planning, stakeholder analysis and management, training design, development and deployment and communications.
  • Ability to liaise with and understand technical requirements and translate into business requirements
  • An ability to liaise with senior level stakeholders, preferably in a public sector environment
  • High level oral and written communication skills and documentation skills
  • High level interpersonal skills

It is desirable if the candidate has experience in:

  • SAP HR/Payroll implementations
  • Large scale IT led business transformations
  • Large scale public sector experience
