Our public sector client has an immediate opportunity available for a HR Business Partner with extensive ER / IR expertise working within Australia.

Main duties

Partnering with client groups to advance the capability of the teams and support the achievements of the organisation. Provide proactive and responsive human resource advice, coaching and practical support on complex people and culture issues within your client group. You will partner with your client group of managers to advance the capability and culture of their teams. Providing proactive and responsive advice around human resources, as well as coaching and practical support on complex people and culture issues within the organisation. Currently, this organisation is engaged in ongoing EBA negotiations which you will be directly involved in.

Key Selection Criteria

Demonstrated experience in the provision of expert strategic and operational people management advice and support to client groups

Well developed coaching, collaboration and influencing skills which enhance organisational and management capability

Capacity to respond to both presenting issues and root causes of people management challenges

Demonstrated sensitivity, judgement, integrity, insight and the ability to build effective professional relationships which engender trust and confidence

Excellent written and oral presentation skills
