My Client is an Australian Bank with a strong reputation for offering innovative products. Within IT, there is a BAU Team that is critical in supporting the organisation in delivering quality and ‘in time’ service to ensure systems are available to support staff and members 24/7.
My client is looking to hire an experienced IT Support Specialist to hit the ground running in supporting and administering the physical and virtual IT infrastructure environment in the Bank. You will also play a pivotal role in the planning, design, testing, and implementation of end user services including but not limited to
You will also play a pivotal role in the planning, design, testing, and implementation of end user services including but not limited to software applications, remote access, email and mobile devices. All operational infrastructure issues that arise within the teams’ responsibilities will be responded to and resolved internally or by vendor support within the required SLA’s.
Strong customer focus and high attention to detail under pressure needs to be maintained at all times, with strong communication skills and be able to liaise with staff at all levels of the business. Travel may be required within the Bank's branch network as necessary, as it’s integral to the successful delivery of reliable systems and support.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role supporting Networks, Servers and Desktops
- Technical knowledge across; Windows 2008/2012 Servers, Active Directory User Management, VMware, Terminal Services, Windows 7/10 Desktops, Smart Phones, Tablets and MS Office
- Any core banking or financial system/application support experience will be highly advantageous
