As part of continued project wins they are seeking to appoint a Junior Project Manager to not only be responsible for the Contracts Administration of a newly awarded $10m construction project, but also take on higher level Project Management duties in tandem with a Senior Manger. This is an ideal opportunity for a construction professional with good Contracts Administration skills to step up to the mark and manage their own projects outright.
In this role you will be initially working on two projects concurrently, the position will cover most areas of construction project management and include:
- Contract Management
- Construction Programming
- Client & Stakeholder Liaison
- Managing Project Teams and Site Personnel
- QA and OH&S
- Subcontract Management and Labour Resourcing
Applications are sought from construction professionals with a track record in Contracts Administration in the commercial building sector, with tertiary qualifications in building/construction required. You must be an effective communicator who can represent this up and coming building group well – particularly at the client interface, be highly computer literate and have an excellent understanding of industry OH&S.
