Based in Wingfield, operating on rotating shifts Tuesday-Saturday (12 hour shifts) per week this business currently seeks additional assistance to support the daily running of several machines within their operational area.

The successful candidate will be experienced in assembly and production, preferably within a food or abattoir environment as you will be working with meat by product including offal.

The position will include processing meat through machinery which will be programmed for each job throughout the shift, it will be the individual’s responsibility to ensure that machinery is working correctly at all times, with any issues reported directly to the supervisor. There will also be a responsibility of moving pallets using a forklift on site.

At the end of each shift it will also be the sections responsibility to clean and check all equipment for the next day of processing; this will include the use of dry cleaning using compressed air as well as wet cleaning.

Essential requirements

  • Previous experience within meat processing or abattoir environment is essential- please note candidates who have not demonstrated this experience on their resume will not be considered
  • Forklift Licence (High Risk)
  • Boiler Certificate (High Risk) (Class BS)
  • Available for rotating shift, including day, afternoon and night shift
