Randstad are proud to partner with this well known ASX Listed company focused on building and manufacturing with extensive interest throughout Australia and New Zealand. They have facilities right across the APac region and are growing at a phenomenal rate.
A manufacturing subsidiary of their company are relocating a major facility and are in need of a Project Manager with construction, facilities or manufacturing experience to coordinate and project manage the relocation of one facility into a new premises.
To be successful in this role you will have over 5 years experience in Project Management and have had exposure to contributing to the total coordination of a major move / relocation. This role suits a Project Manager or a Facilities Manager with Project Management experience with previous success in in this exercise. In this role you have to be a reliable point of contact, with a calm personality and great relationship building skills. You will be responsible for planning, execution and key stakeholder management.
You will report into the Senior Management Team and have a Project Engineer reporting into you. You will have strong budget control ability and be very safety conscious.
- Demonstrated project management and strong client engagement skills
- Display a Natural ability to develop strong relationships with people, particularly the client and your own team
- Possess the skills to plan and build a strategic direction for the team
- Provide advanced financial reporting skills
It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing with other managers to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
