My client has experienced significant growth over the last couple of years and has created a reputation for themselves that really set them a part from the rest! They focus on commercial fitout, building refurbishment and construction management projects nationally. Not only do they do this very well, they take pride in investing in their employees by offering learning & development opportunities, and working alongside a very hands-on director.

Due to recent growth, they are looking for an experienced project manager to jump on board, take initiative and to be proud of the projects they are involved in. In return they will be provided with a supportive environment, receiving input from the director and long term career development opportunities.

Main Duties of the Project Manager role;

  • OHS for all site works
  • Contract Administration
  • Consultant Management
  • Client consultation
  • Assisting with design management
  • Manage all contractors both on and off site
  • Undertake detailed site set out and site checks
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspect of the projects(s)
  • Site inspections, toolbox meetings, and reporting on contractor activities
  • Management of all project budgets and schedules

Skills and Experience Required

  • Must have previous Fitout and Refurbishment experience (contractor side)
  • Confident communicator; exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Confidently able to multitask and meet deadlines across multiple consecutive projects
  • Can read technical drawings and understand the construction process
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Able to travel interstate potentially
  • Comfortable to work autonomously as well as willing to assist and support others


  • Salary of $120k to $140k package
  • Above industry bonus structure
