job description

In this role you will be providing your expert advice, support and recommendations to the members on a range of national matters. You will create and maintain group control systems and processes eg contracts register, contacts register, delegations register and tender schedule. Another part of this role will be to coordinate where required, together with the relevant state, deliver presentations and workshops to stakeholders on project activities.

You will also be asked to play a strategic role and provide a disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the groups controls and governance processes. Another angle in this role will be that you will have to have the ability to work in a matrix environment, reporting to a manager that is not located in this state.

To be successful you will need excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, be a self-starter with the ability to operate independently in an ambiguous and complex environment. You will need to be proactive on a daily basis and there will be no hand holding.

Whats on offer here is a six month contract that could get extended depending on you building a business case in your first six months. You will get a very competitive hourly rate, work with a diverse culture of people and you will be treated like an adult and not be micro managed.

You will need to register your interest and send your resume to darragh.aherne@randstad.com.au you are welcome to contact me, Darragh Aherne on 02-92339936 for a confidential chat if you have any further questions regarding this outstanding opportunity.
