My client is seeking an experienced SAP Application Support Specialist preferably with experience in Ariba (Concur is also very advantageous)
Our Australian Industry Leading client has an exciting IT driven procurement project rolling out a new Ariba IT system to support how the business will engage with their suppliers.
The Application and Training consultant will be responsible for Leading the support and resolution of application issues for an IT driven procurement project. The roll out is in the early phase and you will draw upon their technical knowledge of the system to provide support to new users whilst developing robust training and process improvement to address knowledge gaps of users.
Responsibilities of the role:
Resolving escalations from end users regarding application issues and queries
Acting as an internal technical reference point
Following agreed procedures, respond to requests for assistance by providing information to enable users to resolve their problems
Working with internal stakeholders (Accounts Payable and IT) to ensure issues are resolved
Negotiating timeframes for solution implementation with users and updating users on progress during problem resolution
Analysing workflow to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement
Delivering training courses regarding both technical and business skills to end users
Ensuring high level technical queries are escalated to support desks according to established procedures.
Strong technical knowledge of SAP applications (particularly Ariba and Concur)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good time management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple problems at once and prioritise issues
Strong customer service focus
