This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a client side organisation - with two positions on offer, one as a Transport Planner and another as a Traffic Engineer for a billion dollar light rail project at the feasibility stage of the program.
As a Transport Planner you will be required to review transport and traffic planning contracts with the proposed light rail route and make recommendations to the Transport and Traffic Planning Lead based on population growth and transport demand modelling and other variable information.
Reporting directly into the Transport and Traffic Planning lead you will be required to develop a long term transport plan based on needs and demands for the next 30 years.
As a Traffic engineer you will be required to ensure that transport strategies and plans are prepared and developed during the feasibility stage of the project.
Reporting into the Transport and Traffic Planning lead you will also required to analyse and review traffic management plans and investigate the feasibility of proposed light rail stop access plans.
To be successful in these roles you will need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills as you will be required to interface with various stakeholders such as RMS, local council, Transport for NSW and other private sector stakeholders. You will also ideally have some experience in rail - with either a Tier 1 consultancy or government organisation.
Requiring a start toward the end of September - this role will be paying in the vicinity of $850 per day + super for the right calibre candidate.
If you are interested in any of these roles and would like to find out more information please feel to contact Paul Pannu on (02) 9233 9942 or email your up to date CV to firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively please send through your updated CV through to the link provided.
