Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Operations Officer, your duties will include but not be limited to:
•Maintaining team for various tasks. Tasks that will support maintenance of a mortgage discharge.
•Triaging solicitor request for mortgage statement
•Entering data into the mortgage tool
•Maintaining security library
•Collecting interest owed payments
•Applying payments to mortgages, closing those accounts, some manual accounting required
•Transferring money from accounts, balancing the GL accounts.
•Updating the systems.
•Ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and deadlines for settlement dates are met and payouts of the customer’s products are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
•Investigating payments made by customers towards their Mortgages, Home Equity Line of Credits and Bridge Loans.
•Reviewing and understanding the customers mortgage conditions.
•Examining and verifying that client request letters from banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions that have been received must adhere to all bank rules and regulation.
•Collecting crucial client data from solicitors and checking client property lien and property charge paperwork to make sure that the information given is accurate.
•Verifying the funds received from solicitors and other financial institutions and approving payouts for secured products or facilities such mortgages, home equity lines of credit, and bridge loans.
•Recognizing and putting into practice the banks operational rules and processes and making sure the required precautions are taken to support the correctness of all daily client and partner transactions.
