Brand Ambassador for Irish Whiskey brand•1 year contract (renewable, possibility to become a permanent employee in the future – depending on performance)•Up to 20% performance bonusThe role:•Make the Whiskey brand a lifestyle choice amongst target audience•Contribute recruiting new consumers/trade customers and support the relationship with existing consumers/customers by sharing a passion for Irish Whiskey•Drive brand visibility and activation at key outlets with close collaboration with sales team. •Manage official Social Media accounts to drive consumer awareness via creating and posting contents, and leading community management, following brand guideline. •Proactively grab opportunities of brand seminars and tasting events (online & offline) to showcase the brands to various audiences (Consumers, Shoppers, trade customers & press). •Research what the competitors are doingResponsibilities: 1)Drive Brand Visibility & Activation (40%) •Identify key accounts and pre-align with MOT Activation Team (MA team) for consistency •Make regular bar calls to such key accounts to strengthen Whiskey Brand Visibility and initiate Brand Activation, intending to drive advocacy and to bring business impact. •Upon request form Sales team (especially MA team), accompany them for meetings and bar calls to give idea of Visibility and Activation. •Keep update on the latest POS list and availability with close working with Marketing Manager & Trade Marketing Team to utilize those to strengthen Visibility at key outlets. 2)Social Media and Influencer Marketing (30%) •Actively propose, create and post Social Media contents which can work at Whiskey Japan official accounts (Instagram, Twitter and Facebook). •Create twisted cocktail recipe for Social Media post. •Lead digital community management with liking, replying to comments. •Keep updated on the latest Social Media strategy and activation plan provided by IDL. •Find and connect with influencers for Whiskey brand both off-line and on-line to activate them with following, put comments and gifting. 3)Brand Education (20%) •Undertake comprehensive training with IDL to become the face of Whiskey brand in Japan. •Lead activations both for bartenders and consumers with tastings, seminars, hosting activities and helping with events. •Participate in industry events to educate about Whiskey brand. •Bring customers/consumers to Ireland to make them fans of Whiskey brand through prepared thorough experience via closely working with IDL. (after COVID-19 situation would be stable) – opportunity basis 4)Reporting (10%) •Monitor activity performance/learnings and provide report on a monthly basis.Requirements:•Japanese fluency (hosting brand seminars)•English communication skills•minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Sales & Marketing or hospitality industry •Digitally savvy with social media presence •Experience in the Japanese (alcohol or bar) market a plus •Interest in Wine & Spirits, Food is a plus•Outgoing, confident and energetic character with public speaking skills
