This company is an international specialist provider of manufacturing, repair (MRO) and distribution of components and systems for civil and military aircraft and helicopters. With over 40 years of manufacturing and MRO experience, this company has the expertise to provide proactive advice and technical support helping to ensure the most cost-effective support solutions to its civil and military customers worldwide.

The company has several business lines that exist of a multiple of smaller individual orders often of a transactional nature. Although individually small, together they represent an essential volume for the profitable workload of the business line. These businesses cover a wide range of activities, including, amongst others, component repairs and overhauls, spares sales, helicopter maintenance events and diesel engine MRO.

Responsibilities:

• Perform market monitoring and analysis for your assigned business line(s); to begin with, the focus will be on PNED's business lines (component repair and overhaul, part sales, distributorships, FOG, …), with the possibility to extend onto other business lines later on, covering e.g. PHAB and Linnavuori services.
• Actively map, create, develop and maintain the customer network relevant to the assigned business line(s) across market areas
• Promote company's capabilities within the customer network and inquire, identify and pursue opportunities
• Develop transactional sales opportunities into long-term customerships where possible
• Connect with GLO Key Account Directors for their respective markets and involve them for alignment, support and strategy where relevant
• Handle RFQ's and execute the offering activities in accordance with the Gate process and appropriate approval policies
• Update and maintain data in the Sales tools for correctness, completeness and accuracy
• Hand over stable established customerships to local customer office for recurring business interfacing
• Cooperate with OPS and S&OP for smooth coordination between sales load and operative capacity

Requirements:

• (Bachelor level degree in technology or business) Bachelor's or Master's degree in a suitable field
• Sales or account management experience in minimum one of the transactional business lines, with proven success in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities and growing existing customerships;
• Eager to learn other business lines; fast learner
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral; fluency in two other main languages (written and oral) is an advantage
• Experience and skills to participate in tendering processes
• Advanced communication competences (verbal, written and presentation)
• Proven self-management and well-organized
• Ability to animate a bidding team
• Highly developed argumentation, negotiation and persuasion skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), CRM systems and project scheduling and planning software
• Available for frequent international travel
• You are a real sales hunter, driven to bring in these tons of customer orders, yet ethical behavior is always at the basis of everything you do
