Our Client is a Global leading MNC and a leader in the sector they operate in. This is an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Senior Group Tax Manager and take charge of developing and implementing tax strategies and policies for their organisation's regional operations.
about the job
Reporting to the Regional CFO, you will play a key role in tax advisory on tax strategies across the region, also ensuring compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring tax planning activities to optimise our tax position and minimise liabilities. You will also oversee and ensure compliance with internal tax reporting requirements from the parent company and within the group. You will provide expert guidance and support to cross-functional teams on tax-related matters, including advising on the tax implications of business transactions and initiatives. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external consultants on tax matters, including tax accounting. In this dynamic role, you will stay ahead of tax developments in the region, identifying and managing tax risks and opportunities for the group. You will also contribute to other ad hoc projects as assigned, making a strategic impact across the organisation.
Skills and experience required
- Degree holder in accounting, taxation, or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications.
- Relevant years of working experience from Big 4 accounting firms and/or multinational organisations, preferably with advisory experience in regional tax.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax regulatory requirements and tax development in the region.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
