Job Title: Head HR
Responsibilities:
Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching HR issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing HR objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Implement HR strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent development activities, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention.
Manages all recruitment and selection activities for India and provides support in the recruitment of staff
Manages the compensation and benefits process, ensuring appropriate compensation & benefits packages administered in the location with consistency
Manages the overall industrial relations in the plant, statutory and non-statutory compliance and the general administration of the plant
Develops and maintains the site training plan. Manages the overall training process, including identifying individual and site training requirements in order to achieve organisational goals
Provides support and guidance to Managers within the business on all HR issues
Develops suitable retention strategies and ensures appropriate training, performance appraisal and succession planning processes
Design and deliver OD and change management strategies, processes and interventions that support organization’s performance.
Responsible to guide Plant HR Heads on IR and legal matters effectively.
Provides support and guidance to the management in solving organisational issues.
Ensures proper channels of communication are maintained for information sharing and translating of corporate objectives into action
Develops and implements HR policies and procedures for the location in line with corporate policies and local regulations
Provides practical support and guidance on implementation of corporate initiatives e.g., Talent Identification process, Global leadership development programs etc.
Translates Corporate Health & Safety Policy and ensures implementation to meet Corporate Objectives and targets
Supports & assists other functions in achieving pre-determined targets & goals
Ensures compliance to statutory laws applicable to employees required for the business and the factory operations in India
Manages the maintenance of the site services/facilities
Any other responsibility assigned by the Managing Director as per business requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate in any discipline
Post graduate with qualification in HR
15+ years with min 3-5 years as a Head of the HR function
