Position: Humanities Teacher
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Contract: Long term position
Start Date: ASAP until Summer
Salary: £130-£210 per annum
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the humanities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Humanities subject lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance student understanding and achievement.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular connections and enrich the learning experience.
- Actively contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
