We're seeking a fully ticketed industrial electrician to join our night shift team at a cutting-edge, automated facility in Calgary. Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance, repairs, rebuilds and troubleshooting on automated and robotic manufacturing machinery and production lines.
Do PLC, VFD, and ladder logic troubleshooting and repairs (Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems).
Assist millwrights with maintenance and repairs on motors (150 HP or less), robotics, and associated equipment (pump, valve, and actuator maintenance).
Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, robotic arms, sensors (temperature, photo eye, load, etc) and other automated machinery.
Execute predictive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Maintain documentation and records of maintenance activities.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
What you bring:
Journeyman or Red Seal Electrician ticket.
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or plant maintenance (e.g., food, wood, metal, etc.).
Familiarity with PLC systems, particularly Allen Bradley (Siemens experience is a plus). PLC programming experience is a "nice to have".
Proficiency in ladder logic and troubleshooting automated machinery (temperature, photo eye, load sensors, etc).
Ability to work night shift with occasional overtime.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
