about the role:
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth from key clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Work with the marketing team to help in campaigns.
- Collaborate with various teams to meet client expectations.
- Negotiate contract renewals and pricing agreements to ensure mutual benefit.
- Ensure timely submission of promotion plans and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
- Supervise a team of merchandisers to optimize productivity.
- Plan and execute new product launch activities.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust account strategies accordingly.
- Track KPIs and key account metrics to measure success and drive improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and implement strategies to meet evolving needs.
- Generate regular sales progress and forecast reports.
skills and experience required:
- Approximately 3 years of account management in FMCG or F&B.
- Experience in working with Singapore’s major supermarkets is a must.
- Comfortable with working in the west.
- Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Sales / Marketing or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
