Primary Responsibilities:Designing and Implementing HR Policies:•Develop, recommend, and put into effect top-tier HR policies that adhere to local labor regulations and are in line with the corporate ethos. Draft proposal materials for review by the Japan President Council and secure its endorsement.•Manage policy integration and transitions during business acquisitions and divestitures.•Stay abreast of changes in Japanese Labor & Employment Law and market dynamics, devising suitable action plans for adaptations and ensuring timely implementation.Ensuring Compliance with Labor Laws and Fostering a Positive Work Environment:•Address queries from the Labor Standards Inspection Office and relevant ministries in an appropriate manner.•Identify governmental rulings and market trends pertaining to labor matters, devising and executing timely action plans.•Cultivate a culture of well-being through the introduction of innovative work styles.Labor Union Engagement:•Assume responsibility for preparing for labor union negotiations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.•Participate in labor union negotiations and spearhead discussions.Managing Employee Relations:•Effectively handle Employee Relations cases leveraging professional expertise in labor matters and generating requisite findings.•Conduct investigations into cases of harassment guided by professional labor knowledge.•Organize and oversee disciplinary committee meetings.
求められる経験
•5+ years of broad HR experience, with a focus on Employee and Labor Relations (ERLR), including HR program planning and Labor Union negotiation.
•Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, at a business level.
•Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant Japanese labor union and employment laws, trends, policies, and practices.
•The ideal candidate will possess logical and strategic thinking abilities, capable of effectively implementing strategies.
•Demonstrated willingness to take initiative and embrace new challenges.
•Strong analytical skills, with a results-oriented approach and a solid business acumen.
•Proven ability to collaborate and cultivate strong partnerships.
•Agility and resilience are essential traits.
