An expanding and excellent primary school in Dunmow is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is eager to work in an exciting and gratifying environment. We are searching for an LSA to work one-on-one with an autistic kid who has special learning issues in reception.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for working with children one-on-one, supporting them with their academic, behavioural, and social development, as well as assisting children who have difficulty studying. You must be compassionate and empathetic as a learning support assistant, with a strong desire to provide a loving learning environment.
REQUIREMENTS FROM THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Experience in supporting pupils in a classroom environment, with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
- A sound understanding of how children develop socially and mentally.
- Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is preferred.
- An Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role).
- Two most recent professional recommendations. (This is essential)
