- Responsibility of the planning, procurement, execution, monitoring and control of the project. Ensuring that key milestones are reached.
- Comparing actual performance against planned/scheduled performance.
- Work closely with Client to ensure project is successfully completed and within budgeted cost.
- Take lead and attend walkthrough enquiry for base build, tool hook up and sustaining work request.
- Work closely with commercial department for proposal/tender submission.
- Attend client weekly progress meeting, coordination meeting, EHS meeting and Commercial meeting.
- Chair weekly project management meeting.
- Enforce work quality practice at all time, strictly comply to drawings, specification and obtaining QAQC / customers buy off.
- Attend and solve site installation/commercial issue.
- Review and submit weekly progress update.
- Ensure final handover documentation completeness and submission timely.
- Enforce and practice proper PPE and strictly follow safety guidelines at work place.
- Enforce and audit proper housekeeping (5S) at work place, laydown and workshop.
- Take lead in investigation, preparation report and solving site incident.
- Review and verify monthly sub contractor work completion and claim.
The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining day to day project activities in order to meet departmental operations.
- Awareness on SOP and quality plan.
- Awareness on safety requirements, cleanroom protocol and site security rules & regulation.
- Schedule and project cost awareness.
- Continuous to grow in competencies and multi-skills set by management.
- Maintaining good records of attendance.
- Perform other related duties as and when required.
qualification and requirements
Possess minimum Degree in Engineering with 4 years of related working experience or Diploma in Engineering with at least 8 years of related working experience. Must maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the Project Manager and also to demonstrate the following personal attributes:

The Project Manager must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
- Communication and Writing skills.
- Computer application competency eg. MS Excel, MS Project, Autocad.
- Understanding of Basic Engineering, Drawings and Project site environments
