Randstad C&P are recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-profile infrastructure projects across the multiple countries. Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of a major highways scheme from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project objectives, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of project goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk management strategies, and quality assurance measures.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution, including procurement, construction activities, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate issues and maintain project momentum.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the project team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree ore equivalent (HND, etc.) in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience managing large-scale highways or infrastructure projects within the civil engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
- Sound knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
