Then look no further as my Client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team and they are actively interviewing at the moment.
We are looking for an Quantity Surveyor to work on upgrades and renewal projects in the Anglian area for a large, respected Tier 1 contractor. The perfect applicant will have experience working on projects within repairs to water storage towers, pressure release valves, repairs to pumping stations and upgrades to pipelines.
Contract: Temporary (£350 per day inside IR35)
When: ASAP
Where: Peterborough

Responsibilities will include:
- Managing all aspects of the contractual side to the project
- Carrying out cost analysis
- Monitoring cost variations and writing reports
- Allocating work to subcontractors and making payments
- Ensuring the project does not exceed the budget
Requirements:
- Working towards a Diploma or Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Knowledge of NEC 3 and 4 Contracts
- NEC 3 or other target cost contract experience
- Ideally experience from a Civils background
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience working within the Water Industry is desirable
- Excellent numeracy
- Intermediate user of Excel and good use of other Microsoft packages
- UK Driving Licence
