Location: Epping, Harlow, Loughton, and Chigwell
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working with SEND students
- Ability to work in 3-hour blocks with students on a 1:1 basis
- Comfortable working with children in their homes or neutral settings such as community libraries
- Flexibility to commit to the provided timetable, ranging from 4 weeks to termly blocks
- Strong communication skills with both students and the organization
- Core subject specialisms for both Primary and Secondary levels
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students who struggle to access the full curriculum in a classroom environment
- Deliver engaging lessons and activities in line with individual student needs
- Ensure consistency and continuity in learning by adhering to the provided timetable
- Support students for a maximum of 15 hours per week
- Embrace the freedom of shorter workdays while maintaining effectiveness in teaching
