Randstad Education is partnering with a reputable school in Brighton, urgently seeking a SENCO to support their team during September admissions. They require an experienced individual to start immediately, with the ability to handle the workload from day one. Familiarity with tribunal processes and letter writing is preferred. Located in the countryside, a driving license would be advantageous. Join them in providing vital support to the students with Autism, ASD, and ADHD, in a serene and beautiful setting. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that students with special needs receive the support and guidance they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the provision of special educational needs support within the school.
- Coordinate the identification, assessment, and provision of support for students with SEN.
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create inclusive learning environments.
- Provide training and support to staff on SEN-related issues and best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision and make recommendations for improvement.
What You'll Bring:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working as a SENCO or in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Commitment to promoting inclusive education and supporting the diverse needs of all students.
