We are looking for someone with a strong background in data engineering who is passionate about accelerating data-driven decision making throughout the company.As Senior Data Engineer, you will be working with internal teams to understand their data needs and provide the data platform that helps their day-to-day decisions.Responsibilities-Develop and maintain the data platform (data collection, analysis, and visualization)-Work with the development team to improve our data collection by connecting more data sources to the data platform-Maintain and improve data integrity-Interact with various internal teams to understand their data needs-Build data dashboards to support each team's decision making-Improve data utilization by continuously monitoring data usage metrics-Proactively conduct data analysis to provide teams with new insights to make better decisionsBenefits-At our company, we embrace remote work while also offering office space for those who prefer in-person collaboration-10 days regular vacation, additional 5 days summer and 5 days winter vacation-Paid birthday holiday-Budget for self-learning allowance, to ensure our employees’ skills remain current-Language training for Japanese

-Strong engineering background
-Proficiency in a programming language used in data engineering such as Python
-Experience and interest in data collection, ETL, analysis, and visualization
-Advanced understanding of SQL
-Knowledge of data warehousing technologies and experience with platforms
-Ability to deeply understand teams (Business, Engineering, and Operations) objectives and translate them into effective data engineering solutions

Good to have
-Proficiency in a programming language used in data engineering such as Python
-Experience in developing and operating web services
-Experience with Looker/LookML
-Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS or GCP
-Experience with database design and performance tuning
