We are working with a large and complex government department that is recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the team. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business unit leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support key business decisions and initiatives.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes for assigned business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against targets, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide proactive financial support and guidance.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function to enhance overall effectiveness and productivity.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
- 5- 10 years post CA/CPA qualification
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ideally has worked in a large and complex government organization
