About the job
- Support incident response by analyzing incidents, providing data collection solutions, and implementing measures to close security gaps.
- Develop and report on incident response metrics and key performance indicators.
- Coordinate and lead response initiatives and escalations
- Oversee a team of Cyber Defense Engineers. This includes delegating and reviewing tasks
- Identify and ensure the timely development of operational processes, procedures, and documentation for the cybersecurity engineering program.
- Prioritize the review of vulnerabilities for potential impacts on the company, collaborating with them on remediation or the deployment of mitigating controls.
Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have at least 8 years of experience in cyber defence / incident response / SOC. At least 5 years of managing a security team
Candidates with regional / global exposure will be of added advantage.
