This is a well established and long standing SEN school it is highly regarded for its continued success and dedication to offering a pioneering education to their learners with high functioning ASC. The school offer a part residential part school setting to learners aged between 5 and 16 years of age and currently has 80+ pupils on role. The school would love to welcome with open arms a long term SEN TA to support on a 1:1 and whole class basis starting ASAP. This role is needed Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 daily, this is a term time only role. The school support and educates learners with Autism, Asperger's and other associated learning difficulties and are proud to offer a curriculum that is both creative, broad and encompasses recreational activities. Responsibilities:
- Supporting KS1- KS4 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
