This modern, bright and extremely well facilitated day centre is currently seeking a support worker to join there team. In this role you will be supporting learners that are aged 19+ with educational activities. This role would entail supporting with fundamental skills, life skills, GCSE or A levels, degree's and even vocational qualifications the sky's the limit! In this role you will be supporting learners on a 1:1 and small group basis. This is the role that allows for you to truly make a difference! This setting has alot to offer there students including on site gym, sensory rooms, horticultural tunnels, DT and Art studios, incredible tech and fully operational food tech rooms. This role is needed on a full time basis starting ASAP. Hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. This centre is open all year round.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing assistance defined according to weekly/daily/seasonal planning of the teacher and therapeutic team
- Working 1:1 with students/learners
- Providing group and/or individual activities
- Supporting the general well being of learners within the structure of the site
- Supporting all learners in their planned structured work in all curriculum areas and also with life skills
Key skills and experience needed:
- The ability to work with learners that have various SEN/learning difficulties
- A willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
- Confidence to support the lead in groups, in different activities
- Flexibility in their approach
- Teaching Assistant and/or child care or adult care experience
- GSCE Maths and English or equivalent - desirable
