Randstad has announced the inclusion of vacancies for the world's leading volunteer development organization on its
flagship website.
The multinational recruitment agency now allows online jobseekers the opportunity to search and apply for assignments provided by Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), who work to reduce poverty in developing countries by sharing professional skills and creativity and through the deployment of volunteer personnel.
This development is the continuation of a fruitful relationship between the two organizations, which have been working together since 2004 in a combined effort to increase the expertise on hand in developing countries. Randstad's own employees are also encouraged to apply for VSO assignments.
Specifically, Randstad believes that the addition of these profiles in its online job platform will increase VSO's visibility to experienced and qualified professionals, while also giving these candidates the chance to develop their skills in new environments.
VSO currently works with not-for-profit groups in a variety of countries and has professionals in positions in China, India, Uganda, Indonesia and Namibia, among others.
