Increasing healthcare demand 'to boost US IT jobs'
Rising levels of demand for technology within the healthcare sector are pushing up the need for people to fill IT jobs in the US.

This is the claim made in an article for PAB News, which has noted that medical solutions are increasing becoming computerized and "the government and investors have now been forced to sit up and take notice" following years of delays to adoption.

In addition, the news source pointed out that Department of Labor statistics have indicated IT employment opportunities are being generated by the nation's healthcare industry, as officials find that paying for medical technology could address a range of problems.

Free IT healthcare training is now being offered by the American Health Information Management Association for staff in needy areas and system upgrades are being undertaken that generate additional technology roles.

"At least for the time being, IT jobs seem to be the best bet for America's unemployed," the piece concluded.

The American Jobs Bill was launched last month and in his weekly address on October 29th, US president Barack Obama declared that Congress needs to play its part in creating jobs and improving living standards for citizens by passing the proposed legislation immediately.
