Yorkshire to experience 'jobs bonanza'
The English county of Yorkshire could be on the verge of seeing a 'jobs bonanza', thanks to a grant to the film industry which it is hoped will see employment in the county rise drastically.

Creative arts will be at the center of the jobs boost, with film, art, theater and games all expected to benefit from the introduction of the fund through creative funding for budgets.

The grant, which was announced this morning (February 6th) will come partly from a European Regional Development Fund, and the other half from the private sector.

Screen Yorkshire chief executive Sally Joynson said: "The fund will also create hundreds of jobs across the supply chain, which is so critical at the moment."

This is further good news for the British market, after it was announced that Samsung Heavy Industries will soon be creating 500 jobs in Fife through new wind farm technology production.
