About the job

This role sits within our highly regarded construction, property and engineering team comprised of a number of industry specialists, all responsible for a particular market sector. The current need we have falls within the civil, roads and maintenance space managing one of our major clients that operate across NSW.

In this strong account management role, you will be responsible for the effective management of a well-established client, ensuring that their recruitment and workforce management needs are met. To do this you will need to invest a significant amount of time in talent pooling suitable candidates for roles such as road workers, tradespersons, plant operators and supporting staff.

There is also a strong requirement to participate in a number of human resource functions including payroll processing, managing workplace policy implementation, issuing all site personal protective equipment and general administrative functions. Being highly organised and methodical with processes is critical in this role.

It is expected that you spend approximately 30% of your work week out on job sites so you need to be adaptable to this type of work environment. It is also important that you can commit yourself to full-time work hours with some flexibility as you may be required to travel to remote locations from time to time or attend site at various shift times such as night or early mornings to ensure that you are developing strong relationships with both client and workers.

In this role, you will be continually developed and will be given your own personal development plan so you can map your growth within the organisation.

About you

We are looking for someone that can make a positive impact on our client by assisting them with managing their contingent workforce. To do this you will need to have previous consulting experience and have a good understanding of current market conditions including the pain points experienced by both clients and candidates so that you can formulate tangible solutions.

You will be able to demonstrate how you are relentless in your pursuit in finding the right candidates for roles that a usual recruiter would consider as being impossible. You will also be a proactive operator who is methodical with the development of a strong candidate network, so to do this you will be able to look beyond the immediate and build relationships for the future.

Development of client relationships will be an important part of this role so you will need to demonstrate how you have approached similar tasks in previous roles. Ideally, you will have worked to activity based targets and understand how to work with strong principles.

In this role, you will be eligible for commission on top of your great base salary.
