About the job
We currently hiring a recruitment consultant to work within the Construction, Property & Engineering Division, specialising in civil recruitment. You will be working as a 360 recruiter within a successful blue collar recruitment team. You will start working an established desk inheriting existing clients, candidates and roles to fill.

The team is performing well and this role has been created to continue the success journey they are on. You will have a clear portfolio of clients to target. Being part of the highly successful team you'll be given the the opportunity to grow our market share. Depending on your experience, there is the opportunity for you to step into a team leader role. You will report directly to the Branch Manager Tim Natusch, who manages both the Hendra and Logan office.

Your duties include but not limited to;

* General recruitment services for temporary oles
* Build relationships in your industry with business leaders/hiring managers
* Managing the life cycle of role brief to placement.
* Business development into the government sector
* Negotiating terms of business with clients
* Assist in marketing your division's market reach, skill and experience to service new clients, including activities on social media, job boards, and industry groups.
* Have an understanding or develop and understanding of awards and agreements, plus workplace health and safety.

About you
Ideally, you will

* Have previous experience working in recruitment or come from a strong business development/ sales role
* Be an excellent communicator,
* Have a passion for growing your desk and client base
* Have the ability to work well on your on as well as in a team
* Be tenacious with your attitude to work.
