About the team

Policy, Strategy and Communications (PSC) team sits within the wider Sales, Marketing and Communications division within Randstad and focuses on public and not for profit sectors. The team works as a tight-knit unit with a dedicated contractor and candidate care associate, a hands on and supportive manager and a dedicated business development executive within the team.

About the role

As a Senior Consultant - Communications, you will be working in a very fast paced and challenging environment. The role will focus predominantly on contract recruitment but there will be opportunity to fill permanent roles as well.

You will be joining a very successful team of recruiters and will be assisting them in growing their market share. As part of the role you will be calling and visiting lapsed and prospect clients, sourcing candidates for our clients within the government and commercial industries. Part of the day to day duties will include posting adverts, mining the database, Boolean searches, shortlisting and interviewing candidates as well as administrative duties. You will gain exposure to candidates and clients during interviews and visits and will manage client and candidate relationships.

About you

You will have previous experience within recruitment or HR solutions and have a passion for sourcing and developing a large pool of quality Communications/Marketing professionals and client contacts. Highly desirable would be previous Communications recruitment experience within the Government and Not For Profit sectors.
