Bilingual Account Manager, Payroll Services- Toronto, ON or Montreal, QC

The Team Lead serves as the first line of management and is responsible for directing the daily operations of the Talent Experience Team. This person will focus their efforts on ensuring business continuity and lines of sights for service level agreements while taking an active role in implementations. This role is responsible for five key areas to effectively manage the full talent life cycle: Supervision, Client Partnership, Onboarding, Payroll Administration, & Reporting.

Position Summary:

Supervision: 20%

•Lead and develop account teams with respect to performance cycles and Great
•Conversations
•Provide training, daily guidance, coach, develop, and set example of professionalism in the workplace
•Execute quality assurance protocols (audits, call/email screens, etc.)
•Participate in lean initiatives and assist in creating process improvement and recommendations as appropriate
•Liaise with stakeholders concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, or contractual clarification

Partnership: 20%

•Serve as main point of contact for client and communicate process changes, industry trends, and offer best practices
•Build and maintain a strategic client partnership by understanding the client’s business, processes, and policies to identify needs Execute against growth goals by leveraging
relationships and positioning RSR as a multi-dimensional solution with resources to meet a multitude of staffing needs and high-level skill sets

Onboarding: 20%

•Guide the talent through a successful orientation including: welcome correspondence, legal forms, timesheet and expense process
•Manage compliance process with 100% accuracy
•Proactively communicate with talent and clients throughout the life cycle
•Partner with appropriate parties to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve issues while meeting SLAs

Payroll Administration: 20%

•Review and enter all timecards (as needed), expenses, bonuses, commissions
•Manage pay and bill rates, sick time, taxes, screenings for talent and clients; adjusting as requested by client and required by law
•Complete payroll documentation needed for payroll stops, voids, batch cancellations, stop payments, and reversals
•Meet payroll deadlines to ensure accurate billing for clients and timely talent pay
•Work with leadership team to stay abreast of new information and process updates

Reporting, Audit, & Analytics: 20%

•Review and proactively audit and analyze financial and operational reports Input vendor invoicing for payment
•Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments; adhering to P.O. funding requirements as appropriate

Bilingual Account Manager, Payroll Services- Toronto, ON or Montreal, QC

Education:

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred

Work Experience:

•Minimum five years’ experience in payroll operations/HR/staffing/Account Management required
•Familiarity with Randstad Sourceright systems and tools as well as vendor management systems (VMS) is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

•Strong leadership, customer focus, and customer service skills
•Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
•Proficient with the Google environment including Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Slides
•Excellent organizational, time management skills, verbal, and written communication skills
•Ability to apply sound judgment and decision-making skills in dealing with a variety of routine and non-routine issues, often with limited standardization
•Possess strong problem solving skills
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
