job description

Are you a leader ready to motivate a team and drive results? We’re searching for a Billing Branch Manager who’s ready to tackle an exciting new chapter in their career by managing our Calgary technologies branches.

Do you view a challenge as motivation rather than an obstacle? Are you the type of person who makes new friends everywhere you go? Are you confident that you could sell a pen to a pencil factory? If you answered yes to the above questions, it sounds like you’ll fit right.

As our new leader, you’ll report directly into the President, communicating all relevant matters pertaining to branch operations, inclusive of business planning, sales leadership and staff recruitment and training. You’ll manage all tech recruiters and account managers with respect to recruitment, selection, orientation, attendance, health and safety, Workers’ Compensation, progressive discipline, employee relations, performance management, salary administration, training and development, delegation of specific responsibilities and employee dismissal; all while maintaining a stimulating work environment at all times.

You’ll provide mentorship and oversee the professional development of the team, assist with new hire training and follow up with new sales employees as required, coach individual team members to perform to the maximum of their ability and to co-ordinate the progressive skill development and cross training of employees. You’ll be commercially savvy, exceeding revenue projections on a monthly/annual basis, ensuring that gross margins targets are met and the branch meets profitability targets, while holding full P& L responsibilities for the branch. You’ll establish the local vision, strategies and plans while ensuring alignment with overall company mission, vision, strategies and values. Last but certainly not least, you’ll use an entrepreneurial approach and work with the President to focus on developing the Randstad Technologies service offering and expand market share in Calgary.

So what will it take to be successful? Aside from endless amounts of passion, ambition, energy, and tenacity:

• You’ll be renowned for exceeding sales quotas and have a passion for producing results
• You’ll have experience mentoring/managing technologies recruiters/account managers
• You’ll have 2-3 years of account management experience
• You are a people-person who makes conversation easily
• You are metrics-driven and enjoy the pressure of meeting quotas and driving results
• You are organized and manage your time like a pro

If you think you have what it takes, please apply today.
