Engineering Vice President
Location: Ontario

Engineering Vice President, Ontario plans, directs and controls all phases of a successful Ontario operation, in order to increase profits and encourage growth. Working with Branch Managers, develop strategic market sales development plans, contributing to the overall Engineering line of business.

•Contribute to and execute towards the Engineering annual business plans with a focus on Total Talent architecture and proactive-client engagement initiatives.
•Responsible for the meeting and exceeding the Engineering Ontario business plans and financial sales budgets.
•Develop business partnerships and relationships with key Ontario clients in order to achieve agreed end results
•Responsible for the full Ontario P&L performance.
•Direct, develop & coach internal talent developmental management within the Region
•Being a trusted advisor to key Regional clients and strategic consultant on total workforce strategy


Strategic Market Development
•Assesses industry trends, market conditions, competitors’ strengths/weaknesses and company sales forecasts with a focus on identifying business opportunities. Works with Branch Managers, to develop strategies to increase market share, revenue and profitability.

Sales Management
•Directs Ontario sales activities and assigns sales targets to ensure that regional profit goals are achieved or exceeded.
•Reviews sales forecasts and prospect lists. Ensures the accurate and timely reporting of sales data, and analyzes sales reports to determine trends/opportunities. Takes appropriate action to increase profitability.

Financial Management
•Develops and implements Ontario revenue and expense forecasts. Establishes a Ontario budget and monitors branch and regional expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
•Reviews organizational procedures/structure to ensure economies of scale and reduce expenditures.

Operations Management
•Performs all duties inherent to a managerial role, including the effective selection, training and development of Branch Managers within assigned region as well as holding regular regional and Branch manager meetings. Provides second level management approvals for salary actions, promotions, transfers, etc.
•Ensures the maintenance of efficient daily operations, providing regional support and resolving key client issues.

•8 + years of business-to-business sales leadership experience of working in a target oriented environment
•Proven experience negotiating complex recruitment solution deals and working in a consultative solution driven environment
•Proven ability to establish, build and maintain C Suite level relationships where benefit decisions are made internally and externally
•Experience solving difficult business issues with creative solutions
•Superior coaching skills
•Strong conceptual and analytical skills
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
•Ability to travel when required
